What is Turn’d Up Fitness?

Turn’d Up is a dance fitness class with a difference. We learn routines to current R&B and dancehall tunes. The routines are broken down so everyone, no matter what their ability, can learn them and feel like they’re in their own music video! The lights are off and the disco lights are on! It’s also a fantastic all-over workout, burning 700-900 calories in an hour’s class. Give it a try, you will be hooked too!

Due to its popularity, Turn’d Up is expanding and recruiting instructors. We are looking for women with a passion for fitness and dance who want to make excellent money on their own terms doing a job that they actually love. Click the button below to find out more.

FAQs

If you still need help, get in touch.

HOW LONG IS A CLASS?

Classes are an hour long.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

Turn’d Up Fitness works every part of your body, helping you to tone and shape up. You can burn between 700 and 1000 calories in one class! It’s high energy, gets the endorphins pumping and is a great stress reliever. Last but not least, the sassy, sexy routines are a fantastic confidence booster.

BUT I DON'T HAVE A BACKGROUND OF DANCING / I'VE GOT TWO LEFT FEET / I'M SHY!

A variety of people attend Turn’d Up Fitness classes – all abilities, ages, shapes and sizes. It’s a friendly, inclusive environment. You’ll be surprised at how quickly you pick up the routines. And even if you don’t, the lights are off and the disco lights are on – so no one will notice anyway!

DO I NEED TO BE SUPER FIT?

No. Just willing to give it a go and let loose! You can take it at your own pace and adapt the routines for yourself, or the instructor can give you tips on tailoring your routine.

WHO CAN ATTEND CLASSES?

Anyone, male or female, age 14+. However, we ask that age 14 – 16 are accompanied by a parent. This is because of the adult nature of some of the songs and the routines can be a bit sassy!

IT'S HARD TO FIND THE TIME WITH WORK/FAMILY LIFE ETC...

So many members tell me that Turn’d Up is THEIR time for themselves. An hour for them to focus on something completely different, connect with their body and lose the stress. At the end of class the endorphins are pumping and everyone is smiling and relaxed. We all deserve that time, that self care. Most partners and family members switch on pretty quickly to the fact that this kind of ‘me time’ is beneficial to the whole family!

We have now released TURN’D UP ON DEMAND you can fit Turn’d Up around your life! Accessible anywhere, any time and in any space of your choice! Go to www.turndupfitness.com/on-demand for more info and to register.

IS BEING AN INSTRUCTOR FOR ME?

If you love dance and fitness and have an outgoing personality, yes! You get to do something you love and get paid for it! Turn’d Up instructors all developed a passion for the class and decided to take it one step further. They have chosen their venue and built up their classes from scratch, mainly using social media.

Some instructors teach 40+ women per class and teach three classes a week. So the earning potential is great! They are part of a friendly, supportive group of instructors who learn and grow together. Not to mention the friends they make in class (check out our instructors’ social media and their girl gangs!). Finally there’s the positive changes to body, fitness and health that teaching provides.  See the ‘Testimonials’ page to hear more from our instructors.
